Dániel graduated with a degree in Philosophy from the Faculty of Humanities at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. After attending the moral and political philosophy programme of the Doctoral School of Philosophy at ELTE, he successfully defended his PhD thesis on ‘Karl Marx’s Vision of Communism: The Experiences of the Past and the Opportunities of Modernity’ in June 2017. During his university studies he worked as a journalist, editor and radio broadcaster for various Hungarian media outlets including HVG, Sziget.hu, Wan2 and Radiocafé 98.6. In his spare time, Dániel watches John Carpenter movies, organises quizzes and works on developing his personal library and record collection.
