Zsófi Megyeri

Zsófi is a Hungarian artist-teacher. She got her MA diplomas as a Design & Visual Art Teacher in 2000 and 2001 at Moholy-Nagy University of Applied Arts in Budapest. Between 2002 and 2009 she lived in London, where she had several solo exhibitions of her oil paintings: Oporto Gallery in 2004, the Hungarian Cultural Centre in 2008, Kite Art Studio in 2009. She has a wide range of experience in education, running teacher training courses, giving art lessons in high schools, teaching a design course at Moholy-Nagy University, and running arts and crafts courses for young people of varying ages. In London she also worked as a gallery educator in the Envie d’Art Gallery. After returning to Budapest in 2009, Zsófi established the Alkotópont Art Studio, where she teaches art for adults and and a portfolio preparation course for Milestone students.
