CHOOSE YOUR
HIGH SCHOOL

The Milestone Institute’s Choose your high school workshop is primarily designed for 8th grade students and their parents facing the serious decision of choosing a secondary school. In the 12 years since its foundation, the Institute has worked with over 1200 Hungarian secondary school students from a wide range of geographical and social backgrounds. As a result of their work at Milestone, our students have gained admission to some of the best universities in the world. Their development and success is constantly monitored and we work to maintain a strong alumni community.

We are aware of how confounding this choice may seem at 13-14 years old, and a decision needs to be made based on so much conflicting information . The Institute’s free workshop aims to help students and their parents facing this problem. The one and a half hour interactive session aims to answer common and even sensitive questions that may arise:

  • What types of secondary schools in Hungary can one choose from?
  • What are their strengths and weaknesses?
  • What alternative forms of education exist?
  • Should we flee from public education?
  • What is a highly competitive school like and what does it mean for a student
  • How should the information be gathered, reviewed and considered?

Our workshop aims to help answer these six questions and many more. We will also invite current Milestone students from secondary schools across the country to present their own experiences and lessons learned.

Location: 1077 Budapest, Wesselényi utca 17.
The sessions will be run in Hungarian and attendance is free of charge, but registration is required.
