Edit is a clinical cardiologist with a strong academic background and extensive experience in bench and clinical research. She has completed her PhD studies at Semmelweis University where she is also an alumna of the Kerpel-Fronius Talent Program. Her international research experiences enabled visiting the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London for 6 months. Furthermore, she had short term fellowships at research laboratories at the Ruprecht-Karls University Heidelberg and the University of Wien. She completed a postdoctoral clinical research fellowship program at the University of Oxford and John Radcliffe Hospital granted by the European Society of Cardiology. Her academic and clinical interests focus on imaging of the heart (echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance) and the pathophysiology of heart failure. She has a huge desire for continuous learning and spreading her knowledge and experience for all colleagues and students.
