Head of Senior Year
After obtaining his M.A degree in International Relations at Central European University (CEU), Erdost stayed at CEU to complete his PhD in Political Science. His academic expertise lies in critical and feminist approaches to war and conflict, the politics of the human body, and political violence. In addition to his formal teaching experience at the Asian University for Women, he took part in CEU’s Open Learning Initiative (OLIve) project, which provides education for forcefully displaced people in Budapest, as a lecturer and tutor. He organized and participated in numerous conferences and lectures that sought alternative spaces and methods for knowledge production, and aimed to make education and institutions more accessible, horizontal, and decolonized. In his free time, he enjoys reading science fiction, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and reading theory.
