Thomas Clark

Module leader

Thomas gained his Master’s degree in computational physics from the University of Edinburgh, his PhD in light-matter interaction from the University of Glasgow and is currently principal investigator of an international project to detect magnetic fields: combining shaped light and atoms. Identifying as a thinker and tinkerer at the Wigner research centre for physics, Thomas has greatly enjoyed adding teacher at Milestone to this list. Something that continues to hold true two years later. Outside of the office, he has strong interests in programming and theology. In fact, he has built an app for learning obscure languages and spent the past year developing a website for families to remotely record audio books. His most recent challenge however, is learning how to jointly raise a 9-month old puppy and a 2-month old baby.
