History Society: The Conquest of the Inca

Come along to Milestone on Saturday, 23rd June at 3 pm and join a fascinating talk on the examination of the Inca by William Hoversen.

Perched high in the Andes of South America, a civilization of shocking sophistication flourished for a century. Blinded by their dominance of the region and captivated by curiosity, this civilization welcomed the very army dispatched to conquer them. Join us Saturday, June 23rd at 3:00 PM for an examination of the Inca: their culture, their history, and ultimately their demise at the hands of Fransisco Pizarro and the Spanish.

William Hoversen is a lecturer in the department of American Studies at ELTE. His area of study is the history of the Americas with a focus on Pre-Colombian Cultures, a class which he teaches at the university. their culture, their history, and ultimately their demise at the hands of Fransisco Pizarro and the Spanish.
