Astrophysics and Astronomy Society

President: Léna Lakatos
Vice President: Bianka Kovács

The Astrophysics and Astronomy Society is the youngest society of Milestone Institute. It was formed in the Autumn Term of this academic year by two enthusiastic sophomore students, Léna Lakatos and Bianka Kovács (more about them below). This society’s goal is to produce a friendly environment for students with interest in Astrophysics and Astronomy. The organization wants students to feel encouraged to take part in their society’s life, even if they are not experienced yet. But what can the Astrophysics and Astronomy Society give you? Fun events, learning about new concepts, making new friends, watching the stars, and – as the society’s motto says – comprehending infinity. We are also a society very open towards starting discussions about discoveries, scientific papers, and news related to the topics of Astrophysics and Astronomy.
