Almos holds a BSc in European Politics, Society and Economics from the University of Birmingham, and an MA in European Public Affairs from Maastricht University. He spent two and a half years working as a political consultant in the “EU-bubble” of Brussels. After teaching himself coding and obtaining a professional Java programming certification from Oracle, he switched to the world of computer science. He currently works as a software engineer at LogMeIn. Almos is also a master student of philosophy at Central European University, focusing on philosophy of science, philosophy of mind, and cognitive science. Upon graduation, he plans to enroll into a PhD program in cognitive or computational neuroscience. In his spare time, he enjoys running and triathlon, competing as an amateur at marathon, half-ironman and ironman distances.
