Antonio completed his undergraduate studies in Economics at Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in his native Venezuela. He also completed a MSc in Economics and Finance at CEMFI (Spain), as well as a Master of Public Policy at the Hertie School of Governance in Germany. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science specialized in Political Economy at the Central European University. His research focuses on the political economy of oil-rich states. He has worked as teaching assistant in political economy and economic analysis courses at CEU. He has a passion for teaching. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends, going to concerts, running, and travelling.
