Timea was born in Hungary, but lived in Belgium for many years, where she attended and graduated from an international secondary school. She holds a BA in Jewish Studies and Social Science from the University of Manchester, and is currently pursuing an MA in History at the Central European University, writing her thesis on women’s experiences in the Budapest ghetto. She has also been active in interfaith work, Holocaust memorialisation, and has gained experience working as a youth leader. As her family is scattered around Europe and the USA, Timea loves to travel and has done so extensively.
