The primary methods used are discussions and debates during class that require weekly readings (research reports, argumentative articles and even academic literature) written by social policymakers, economists, and even Nobel-laureate professors and written assignments in several disciplines that help students understand several aspects of this complex phenomena.
We recommend the Module for students who are interested in university studies in Economics, Economic History, Geography, Social Policy, Sociology, International Relations, History or any other field focusing on social issues in a global context, especially for students interested in higher education in Europe, UK, or the USA. No prior knowledge of these is required to successfully complete the Module.
