In the Milestone English Seminar, students can experience Milestone’s values and talent development methodology, with a specific focus on developing advanced English language skills. We provide a learning environment where curiosity, collaborative thinking and forming independent opinions are just as important as the language itself. The programme is designed for students aged 12–16 who already have a solid foundation in English and are ready to use the language as a real tool. The aim of this ten-week, in-person programme is for English to gradually become a natural language of thinking, curiosity and collaboration.

The programme centres on real conversations, debates and collaborative thinking. Through current and thought-provoking topics, students practise how to express their own opinions in English accurately, naturally and confidently.
The classes are designed to help students go beyond simply practising grammar rules and experience how to ask questions, make arguments, respond and think together in English. In this way, the language gradually becomes a genuine tool for communication rather than simply a school subject.
Confidence in communication grows through regular speaking, individual attention and a safe learning environment. The course helps students focus less on their mistakes and increasingly on what they actually want to say.
Today, English is the shared language of ideas at the world’s leading universities, research groups and professional communities. The programme prepares students to participate more confidently in the conversations that may shape their future.
Communication cannot be learned through theory alone. Throughout the course, students speak regularly, ask questions, respond to one another’s ideas and gradually experience what it feels like to become an active participant in a conversation in English.
A good debate is not about defeating the other person, but about helping participants understand a complex question more precisely. The programme helps students express their own position more clearly and engage more openly with the arguments of others.
Confident communication does not come from producing perfect sentences, but from repeatedly experiencing that you have something worth saying and sharing. The course supports this development in a safe and encouraging environment.
