MILESTONE
SAT
SEMINAR

The Milestone SAT Seminar is designed for students aged 14–19, in Years 9–13, who are preparing consciously for the SAT and want to achieve the best possible result. The nine-week, in-person programme combines structured preparation, small-group teaching, personalised feedback and two individual consultations to help students arrive at test day with greater confidence and a more effective exam strategy.

Milestone SAT Seminar

PROGRAMME FEATURES

Structured

Over nine weeks, the programme builds SAT preparation through two 90-minute in-person sessions each week. During the course, students do more than simply solve practice questions: they learn to recognise the logic of the exam, recurring question types and the patterns of thinking required to achieve a higher score.

Personal

The course takes place in small groups of 10–15 students, allowing every participant to receive meaningful attention and regular feedback. In addition to the group sessions, two individual consultations help students identify their personal error patterns, refine their exam strategy and build an individual development plan.

Goal-oriented

The aim of the preparation is to help every student achieve their personal best on the SAT through structured feedback and deliberate practice. The programme develops analytical reading, mathematical reasoning, time management and exam strategies.

European and American

The SAT plays an increasingly important role in the admissions process of leading universities in both the United States and Europe. The Milestone SAT Seminar therefore prepares students not only for an exam but also for an international higher education environment where analytical thinking, rapid decision-making and conscious learning strategies are particularly important.

WHAT CAN STUDENTS GAIN FROM THE PROGRAMME?

  • A more confident SAT exam strategy and more effective time management.
  • Detailed feedback on their strengths, recurring error patterns and areas for development.
  • Targeted development in analytical reading, logical reasoning and mathematical problem-solving.
  • Two individual consultations providing personalised performance analysis and exam-strategy support.
  • Practice based on mock tests and detailed performance analysis.
  • Learning and problem-solving strategies that will also be valuable later in an international university environment.
  • Professional support from experienced Milestone educators and mentors.

THE MAIN PILLARS OF THE PROGRAMME

Exam Strategy

Knowing the question types is not enough to perform successfully on the SAT. Students need to learn how to manage their time, when to move on, how to handle uncertainty and how to make quick, well-founded decisions under exam conditions.

Thinking Patterns

The programme helps students recognise the logic behind the SAT. The aim is for students to move beyond treating questions as isolated tasks, recognise recurring patterns and apply their own problem-solving strategies with increasing confidence and awareness.

Personal Feedback

The key to progress is not simply the amount of practice, but understanding why incorrect decisions are made. During the group sessions and individual consultations, students receive detailed feedback on their own thinking processes and opportunities for development.
