What are possibilities and limitations of the new genetic engineering tools that have been recently developed? What are the risks and concerns? These are the questions that we address during the Genetic Engineering module through a lot of discussions and examples from real life.
Mentoring is a diverse and complex task with a well-defined goal: to help students find and achieve their path. Mentoring includes academic advising, coaching, keeping up motivation, and listening. In our panel discussion, the Institute’s mentors give advice to students embarking on a journey of self-discovery and talk about what obstacles they have to overcome to achieve their goals. Ventures(s)! Is a cooperative learning experience in which students in teams of three to four manage FORTUNE 500 companies in a simulated business environment. During the one and a half hour session, teams face business and societal challenges and have to find solutions together.
