Eszter Szép loves sharing knowledge, is fond of learning new things, and enjoys inventing creative projects. When she is not teaching or mentoring at Milestone Institute, she teaches comics, visual culture studies, or other subjects at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME) or works on the programs of the International Comics Festival Budapest. She has been invited to talk at Columbia University, Harvard Extension School, American University of Beirut, Ghent University, and UC Louvain. She received the Fulbright Award to Eugene, Oregon (USA) in 2023. Her monograph, Comics and the Body: Drawing, Reading, and Vulnerability, was published by Ohio State University Press in 2020. She has edited two publications of her students comics. As a mentor, her aim is to help students find their passion. In her free time, she does all things culture or runs.
