Mentor
Ibrahim is a Computer Science and Engineering student at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), working toward his BSc with graduation expected in 2027. Originally from India, he holds a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University and has been studying in Hungary on a full Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship since 2022. He loves helping people settle in and grow. He’s been an International Student Mentor at HÖOK since 2023, guiding over 50 international students through uni life, housing, culture shock, and everything in between, plus organizing big welcome events for 100+ people. Right now, he’s a Security and Central Services Trainee at Wizz Air, building cool data dashboards with Python, SQL, and Power BI, and doing AI security research at CrySyS Lab on privacy issues in generative models.
Outside of work and studies, Ibrahim loves travelling, meeting people from different cultures, and staying active through freestyle football and skating. He also enjoys cooking authentic Indian cuisine and believes that meaningful conversations often start around good food.
