Zoli graduated from Eötvös Loránd University with a degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Having started out as a language teacher in a secondary school in Budapest, he later began a new career in publishing, first as a translator of fiction and non-fiction. In 1997, he moved to the UK and two years later, started a 12-year stint working for Oxford University Press in the ELT Editorial department. Before joining Milestone, he set up and ran his own publishing services company back in his native Budapest. Besides his main profession, he is also a qualified wellness massage therapist, and has also been studying screenwriting at the Budapest Film Academy. In his free time, he enjoys films, literature and music as well as travelling and going on long walks around cities – focusing especially on his keen interest in modern urban architecture and city planning and the history of public transport.
